Buzzwords
Java is supposed to fix the problems of C++. In particular it is
supposed to be:
- Simple
- Object-Oriented
- Distributed
- Interpreted
- Robust
- Secure
- Architecture-Neutral
- Portable
- High-Performance
- Multithreaded
- Dynamic
But is it really? Let's look at each of these individually to see how the hype measures up to the reality.
