java.net has published my latest article: The Open Road: Building the JDK. This article follows my experience trying to build the OpenJDK on Linux. Possibly I'll try Windows in the future. This is planned to be the first in a series of articles focusing on the OpenJDK and Java 7. If they're any topics you'd especially like to see covered in the future, holler.
